This week is week two of my work-exchange program where I offer stable help in exchange for riding lessons and or a part-lease. Last week the stable owner contacted me to suggest I get up on a horse this week. I’m writing this Monday morning (Jan 28), and this afternoon I put in my Barn Betty shift. Perhaps I’ll get up on a horse afterward; perhaps I’ll stick to ground work. My newsletter subscribers find out today (February 1st).
